Withdrawal & Refund

    Summary: Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase date. For digital products, this right expires as soon as the download starts or the licence is activated — you must explicitly consent to this early termination. Outside that case, we may issue discretionary refunds for technical issues we cannot resolve. Direct sales are processed by Paddle, App Store purchases by Apple.
  

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Consumers (as defined in § 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB) have a statutory right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of conclusion of the contract.

2. Early Termination for Digital Content

The right of withdrawal expires before the end of the 14-day period for contracts on the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical medium if:

you have given your express consent to the commencement of contract performance (typically: download start or licence activation), and
you have simultaneously confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal upon commencement of contract performance (§ 356 (5) BGB).

This consent is collected during the checkout process by Paddle or Apple. Before this step, you may withdraw at any time without giving reasons.

3. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (or our distribution partner) by means of a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract. The following channels are available:

Direct purchases (Plugin, Standalone via Paddle): Withdraw directly with Paddle through the self-service portal in your order confirmation email. Alternatively, contact info@satk.tech and we will initiate the process with Paddle.
App Store purchases (iPad, iPhone, Mac apps): Refunds are handled exclusively through Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

An informal email is sufficient. You may also use the statutory model withdrawal form (see Section 6).

4. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you effectively withdraw from this contract, we (or the respective distribution partner) shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

5. Discretionary Refunds Outside the Right of Withdrawal

Even if the statutory right of withdrawal has already expired, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis, in particular if:

the software has a reproducible technical defect that we cannot resolve within a reasonable period;
the assured features are unavailable or significantly limited and remediation has failed;
an accidental duplicate purchase was made.

Discretionary refunds are voluntary and do not establish a legal claim. Please contact us at info@satk.tech with a brief description of the issue and your order number.
